UPL players enter Cranes residential camp

Thirteen StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) players entered a residential camp in Kisaasi, a Kampala suburb, ahead of Uganda Cranes trip to Dubai this weekend.

The team will fly to the UAE on Sunday at 5pm aboard Emirates Airlines for a training camp where they will be joined by the foreign based players.

The 13 players and officials also understood the COVID-19 tests at the team Hotel.

Both have been asked to self isolate for 48 hours until when they fly out this weekend.

The camp has been organised in line with preparations for the 2022 AFCON Qualifiers and the 2021 CHAN finals to be held in Cameroon.

The 13 players in camp at the Cranes Paradise hotel, Kisasi:

GOALKEEPERS: Charles Lukwago (KCCA FC), Joel Mutakubwa (Kyetume FC), Nafian Alionzi (URA FC)

OUTFIELD PLAYERS: Milton Karisa (Vipers SC), David Owori (Sports Club Villa), Bright Anukani (KCCA FC), Saidi Kyeyune (URA FC), Paul Mbowa (URA FC), Samuel Kato (KCCA FC), Halid Lwaliwa (Vipers SC), Ibrahim Orit (Vipers SC), Shafiq Kagimu (URA FC), Karim Watambala (Vipers SC)
