Bright Stars 2-0 Onduparaka

Newcomers Onduparaka tested their first hurdle of the Azam Premier League (UPL), falling 2-0 to Bright Stars in Matugga on Tuesday.

Fred Segujja and Seifu Batte scored for coach Fred Kajoba’s side as they picked their first victory in the Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL).

Victory for Bright Stars, who have picked up four points from two matches despite losing a big chunk of their experienced players in the offseason, moves them to third in the log.

Segujja, scoring his second goal of the season, gave Bright Stars the lead as early as the sixth minute before Batte put the game beyond Onduparaka on 53 minutes. Onduparaka are a place above relegation with one point from two matches.
