Bul 2-0 Maroons

Bul ascended to the summit of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table following an pressive 2-0 victory over Maroons on Tuesday.

An emphatic brace from striker Robert Mukongotya was enough to shoot the Jinja side to 12 points, dethroning SC Villa from the apex.

Defeat at the Fufa Technical Centre left coach Douglas Bamweyana’s Maroons in fourth, three points behind leaders and their day’s tormentors Bul.

The hosts went ahead in the 19th minute when Walter Ochora picked Mukongotya out for the striker to finish.

Mukongotya then completed his brace a minute from full time when he guided Hamid Tibita’s ball in.
