Former league champions Vipers SC have beefed up their technical staff by appointing Eddie Butindo as the Technical Development Manager (TDM).
Butindo, a former coach at Miracle and SC Villa among others was officially unveiled at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Friday afternoon by club patron, Lawrence Mulindwa.
“I’m honoured with the opportunity of working with such a great institution,” said Butindo at his unveiling. “The club is focused and determined to take Ugandan football to the next level,” he added.
“I will work to my best ability to make sure we push Vipers SC to new heights.
Mulindwa also believes the addition of Butindo to the technical staff will bear a lot of fruits for the club.
“His experience is unquestionable and therefore as Vipers SC we believe his appointment will yield a lot of fruits,” he said.
Mr. Butindo has been very successful especially with youth football and thus his expertise will help us in grooming players.
The veteran tactician has been handed a two year deal.
