Goalkeeper Tom Ikara and midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba are among the players left out as KCCA left for Madagascar in the wee hours of Thursday.
The Ugandan champions take on Madagascar champions, CNaPS in the first round of the 2018 CAF Champions League on Saturday.
Ikara, a new signing to fill the void left by experienced custodian Ben Ochan also missed the 4-1 practice match against Police.
But there was no communication in regards to his absence unlike Mutyaba who is confirmed to be out for over eleven days due to a foot injury.
