Onduparaka start the new campaign minus prodigal son Muhammad Shaban when they visit URA at Nakisunga.

The forward who re-joined KCCA in the window is the reason the Caterpillars survived the drop last season as he scored crucial goals to turn their campaign around.

URA are also fronting a new forward line with Derrick Nsibambi and George Senkaaba tasked to fill the void left by Steven Mukwala and Cromwell Rwothomio who joined Asante Kotoko and Vipers respectively.

In Lira, new comers Blacks Powers host Stanbic Uganda Cup holders BUL as top tier football returns to the region.

Coached by former BUL tactician Peter Onen, the hosts will be optimistic of stunning the visitors who have title ambitions this season.

Elsewhere, Maroons return to the top division with a home tie against Busoga United who have almost a new team.

Key players Elvis Ngondwe and Anthony Mayanja quit and there are reports Paul Kiwanuka who saved Bright Stars from going down last season is the man in the dugout along with Kikomeko.
