Sadolin Paints Vs Police – Bugembe @ 4.30pm

Sadolin Paints unbeaten run of seven games in which five have been victories come to test on Tuesday when they host bogey side Police at Bugembe.

The Jinja side has never beaten the Cops in previous four meetings in all competitions although the stats don’t worry assistant Coach Samadu Musafiri when reminded of the history.

“It’s true we haven’t defeated Police in any match having lost twice in the league, drew once in the league and also drew in the Cup,” he told upl.co.ug before adding  “But that history will not work tomorrow (Tuesday). Remember they are yet to win at Bugembe.”

The first round meeting between the two ended 2-1 in favour of the law enforcers with Hood Kawesa and Ronald Nyanzi on the score sheet.

The two sides have a clean bill of health but Sadolin top marksman Norman Ojik will be subjected to a late fitness test.

Attacking midfielder Allan Oryek says the team wants to maintain their decent run.

“The team is very ready. We have had good results of recent and would want to maintain that through the last lap of the league and most importantly in front of our fans.”

It’s not all rosy for the visitors who have seen a dip in form of late picking just a single win in their last six games.

Sadolin are eighth on the table with 38 points, same as sixth placed Cops but can rise to 5th with a victory.
