Umar Kasumba scored the only goal of the game in the first half to take the Jogoos’ tally of points for the season to 58 points, eight more than they managed last season when they finished fourth, seven points adrift of winners KCCA.
The loss leaves URA fourth on the 16-team log with 48 points, one more point than last season but a slot below.
As it stands, the 16-time champions are five points below champions KCCA who still have a game against Sadolin Paints to play on crowning day.
