Newly promoted Buhimba Saints FC have made Sheif Batte their first signing in the premier league.

The ex-SC Villa, Bright Stars and Express forward was unveiled after signing a two-year contract with the Bunyoro based side.

“We’re delighted to announce the signing of seasoned striker Sheif Batte on a two-year contract (2025-2027),” the club posted on its official social media pages.

Buhimba Saints will be playing in the premier division for the first time.

Elsewhere, URA announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Chrispas Kusima from Kitara.

“URA FC is pleased to confirm the return of experienced goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima, who rejoins the club on a two-year contract following the expiry of his deal at Kitara FC,” read a statement partly.

Kusiima first featured for the Tax Collectors during the 2016 season, but left and has since featured for several clubs including Tooro United, Gaddafi FC, and Express FC where he helped the Red Eagles win the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title.

Kusiima becomes URA FC’s second acquisition of the current transfer window, following the return of winger Living Kabon, also from Kitara FC.

The custodian will join the tax collectors officially in training after Uganda Cranes CHAN duty in CHAN.
