  • Entebbe UPPC vs Police – Fisheries Ground, Bugonga 4pm
  • Calvary vs UPDF – Midigo P.S Ground, Yumbe 4pm

Following the end of the Fifa international window, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League returns with two matches on card.

At Bugonga, Entebbe UPPC host Police in a clash where both teams target to move top of the table.

The hosts, on 10 points are just one point behind the Cops who are joint top with KCCA on 11 points.

In their last outings, Abdallah Mubiru’s Printers beat Calvary 4-2 in Yumbe and will want to build on that victory.

They also want another home win after a heart breaking 1-0 loss to champions Vipers in their last game at the venue.

Meanwhile, Matia Lule’s side overcame hosts UPDF with a last gasp winner that has kept them in contention.

At Midigo P/S Ground, Calvary host UPDF aiming for the first three points of the season.

The newcomers are yet to win in the premier league and sit bottom of the log with one point in five matches.

They are also without a permanent head coach after departure of Jimmy Kintu who joined Express FC.

For Alex Gitta’s UPDF, a win is a must if they are to react to previous defeats having last won a game on match day two when they beat Mbarara City at Kakyeeka.

They are on 3 points, just one above the drop zone and failure to pick maximum points could see them drop into the unwanted red zone.
