- Maroons vs URA – Maroons stadium, Luzira 4pm
- Express vs Mbarara City – Hamz stadium, Nakivubo 8pm
StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day six begins with hosts Express and Maroons seeking wins over Mbarara City and URA respectively.
First, Maroons will be eager to return to winning ways and get their first home win after a disappointing home draw with Calvary in the only home game played so far.
They are unbeaten against the tax men in the last six meetings in Luzira and won last season’s corresponding match 2-1 with goals from Baden Mujahid and Brian Omirambe.
On other hand, URA who got off the mark in the previous match day beating UPDF 3-2 at Nakivubo will want to build on that.
With seven points at this stage, a win for Alex Isabirye’s side will see them climb to second position on the log.
At Nakivubo, two desperate sides in Express and Mbarara City square off.
The hosts are winless in the past four matches since seeing off army side UPDF 1-0 on opening day while the visitors are one of the two sides yet to register victory this season.
A draw will leave both sides frustrated and with a win the target, that late kick off promises to be a cracker of a game.
