Herbert Achai has re-joined KCCA after spending a season at Express FC.
The left-back left the Kasasiro last season after spending over seven years at Lugogo.
He has signed a two year contract and will compete with James Mubeezi who was arguably the best in the business last season.
“It feels incredible to be back home,” said Achai. “This club holds a special place in my heart, and I am happy to have the opportunity to represent KCCA FC once again. I am ready to give my all, work hard, and go again one more time,” he added.
Achai becomes the third player to join KCCA in the current window after Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Lazaro Bwambale from URA and Kitara respectively.
KCCA also have a new coach in Brian Ssenyondo who will co-coach with Jackson Magera in a new setup next season.
They are looking to end a six-year drought as they haven’t won any silverware since 2019.
