  • Kitara vs BUL – Royal Park Butema 4pm
  • Lugazi vs Express – Lugazi stadium, Najjembe 4pm
  • SC Villa vs NEC – Fufa stadium, Kadiba 8pm

Match day seven of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues on Thursday with three matches on card.

At Lugazi, Express start life without Badru Kaddu as they travel to Najjembe to face hosts Lugazi.

Jimmy Kintu Mwera and Richard Malinga will target a winning start but must beware that last season, the Leaders won both encounters.

Both teams go into the game high on confidence following huge wins before the international break as Express beat Mbarara City 4-1 while Lugazi won 5-2 against Buhimba United Saints.

The two sides share same points, eight after six rounds with the Red Eagles 7th and Lugazi 9th.

At Royal Park Butema, BUL’s unbeaten streak in 2025 is on the line as they visit Kitara.

The visitors are unbeaten in the premier league against the Royals in six encounters with four wins and two draws but lost the last meeting in the Uganda Cup.

BUL are 4th on the table with 10 points, three better than 10th placed Kitara who have played one game less.

In the late kick off, Villa will target becoming the first side this campaign to win four matches on the trot but NEC is the opponent at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.

The Jogoos are unbeaten since losing the opener 2-1 to KCCA and with five matches, they are just four points off the summit with a game in hand over new leaders Police.

On the other hand, NEC have won just once this season, away to Mbarara City and are 12th on the log with 6 points.

Badru Kaddu is still looking for his first three points as NEC head coach following a draw on his debut against BUL before the international window.
