SC Villa have relieved technical director Moses Basena of his duties after just two months in office.
This was revealed to the public in a club statement signed by club President Ahmed Omar Mandela dated September 20, 2025.
“The management of SC Villa informs the club fans and public that Mr. Basena Moses who has been acting as the club’s Technical Director has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect,” read part of the statement.
“The Club thanks Mr. Basena for his services thus far and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Basena was appointed the club’s technical director on July 21, 2025.
Villa, the record league champions with 17 titles also recently won the Fufa Super 8 under new Serbian coach Zeljko Kovacevic.
