With the 2025/26 season drawing closer, teams continue to strengthen their squads.

Caf Confederation Cup bound NEC unveiled experienced midfielder Siraje Sentamu who joins as a free agent from league champions Vipers.

Sentamu is seen as a direct replacement for Ibrahim Tembo who left the club and will compete with Shamir Kimwero for a starting position.

He is expected to debut against Express in the Fufa Super 8 as the Leaders aim to overturn a 1-0 first leg loss at Nakivubo.

At Kitara, the club has added two more new faces with Edward Namaasa and Isaac Amutuhaire joining on a two-year contract from Mbarara City and Kigezi Home Boyz respectively.

The duo could also make their debut against URA in the Fufa Super 8 tournament on Wednesday.
