Vipers aim to stay perfect against Maroons who they host at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Saturday under the lights.
The champions have won two in as many matches and start a busy period in which they will play catch up after missing three fixtures while on the continent.
They will be favourites against Maroons who have won just one game this season and are on five points from as many matches and one position above relegation zone.
Maroons head coach Umar Abdallah Loi said they have used the international break to iron out their issues.
“We used the international break perfectly to reorganize the squad without any match pressure,” he told the media. “The boys are fresh, focused and carrying positive energy into tomorrow’s game,” he added.
Maroons are just one position above the relegation zone with five points from as many matches with just one victory.
Last season’s corresponding fixture was decided by Moses Waiswa indirect free kick.
