Police make a short trip from Kiira Road to Lugogo where last season’s runners up NEC are lurking.
The clash is a litmus test to the Cops who have started on a high winning and drawing once in their opening two fixtures.
This will also be the first time Matia Lule’s charges play away from their new home as both their matches – the 1-1 draw with Mbarara City and the 2-1 win over Express were at Police Arena, Kiira.
Meanwhile, following their disappointing draw with URA in which they threw a lead in their 1-1 draw, NEC will be desperate for their first win of the season.
The hosts hold a decent record against the Cops with a win and two stalemates in the past three meetings in all competitions.
However, the two draws were in the league last season with the corresponding fixture ending in a 1-1 stalemate.
The fixture will conclude match round three of the first round.
