As the 2025/26 season nears, former KCCA captain Julius Poloto has joined newly promoted Entebbe UPPC.

The highly rated winger spent over ten years at Lugogo but the last few seasons have seen his game time decrease mainly due to injuries.

He re-unites with his former coach Abdallah Mubiru and teammates Mustafa Mujjuzi and Steven Munguchi.

The club has signed several high-profile players including ex-Wakiso Giants captain Hassan Ssenyonjo, Noordin Bunjo and Rogers Omedwa among others.

As Poloto departs, KCCA have reinforced by bringing in experienced goalkeeper Charles Lukwago and winger Alpha Ssali.

Lukwago was in goal during part of the most successful era at KCCA under Mike Mutebi.

Meanwhile, Ssali joins from NEC and walks into the footsteps of his grand father Jaberi Bidandi Ssali who managed KCCA in the seventies and is the life time manager of the club.

Record champions SC Villa have also strengthened their midfield with the unveiling of Geoffrey Gaganga.

He joins David Lukwago (GK) and Ibrahim Kasinde among the new faces at Villa Park.

Elsewhere, BUL confirmed the signing of youngster Simon Achidi who now makes their new arrivals four in the window including Farouk Yawe (Kitara), Kelvin Tah Barni (NEC) and Lawrence Kambugu.
