SC Villa will be out to move top of the standings in the premier league when match day seven of gets underway.

The record champions are 3rd on the log with 13 points, one behind joint leaders KCCA and Police who have played one game more.

Zeljko Kovacevic side have won four games in a row coming into this and are unbeaten in five league matches since day one when they lost to KCCA 2-1.

If they win against UPDF who earned a second win of the season in their last outing away to Calvary, they will leapfrog the Kasasiro and Cops.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 2-0 win for the army side who currently sit 13th on the table with 6 points in six matches.

At the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo, NEC host bottom of the table Calvary with Badru Kaddu’s targeting first victory in charge.

The Bugolobi based side have started abysmally this season with one win so far and that led to the sacking of Hussein Mbalangu.

NEC are on 6 points in 12th position after six matches while Calvary are on one point.

At Luzira, Maroons target second win of the season when they host Lugazi.

The Prison Warders are yet to win at home so far but face a side yet to pick maximum points on the road.

Last season, Maroons won both matches in the first premier league season for Steven Bogere’s men.
