  • Calvary vs Entebbe UPPC – Midigo P/S play Ground, Yumbe 4pm
  • Vipers SC vs KCCA – St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 8pm

Vipers and KCCA renew hostilities at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende with the visitors desperate to maintain grip on the summit.

The hosts come into the game behind by 8 points and four games in hand after missing the first matches while on the continent and boycott.

Table leaders KCCA who remain unbeaten since the start of the season with 3 wins and draw stalemates are in good mood as per co-coach Jackson Magera.

“The mood is okay, the energy is there and we are in a position where we can put the best performance and result tomorrow (Friday),” said KCCA co-coach Jackson Magera who will be in charge for a third consecutive game on his own with partner Brian Ssenyondo in Qatar with the Uganda Cubs.

Magera however expects a tough outing against a team desperate to collect points and climb up the log.

“It is a very important fixture against a very tough team, they are the defending champions and they also want to accumulate points and move up the table so we have to work hard,” he added.

Besides three points, bragging rights between players who have strong links on either team will be priority.

Usama Arafat, Allan Okello and Moses Waiswa are the former KCCA players on the hosts team while Ashraf Mugume, Mutwalibu Mugolofa and Gavin Kizito have strong links with the Venoms having started their career at St. Mary’s SS.

KCCA will hope forwards Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Nana Kwikiriza and Umar Sammy Ssebaduka don lethal boots while on the opposite side, Yunus Sentamu, Milton Karisa, Karim Watambala and co must be at their best if they are to pick a second successive win.

At Yumbe, Calvary will host their first ever premier league game when they face fellow newcomers Entebbe UPPC at Midigo.

The hosts have played all their four matches away from home where they have collected just one point.

Entebbe UPPC will be like wounded lions after losing to champions Vipers 1-0 in their last game.

Calvary are at the base of the table with one point while The Printers are on 7 points in 9th position.
