BUL 0-2 Entebbe UPPC
Police 1-2 Kitara
UPPC Entebbe and Kitara picked up crucial victories on Thursday to reshape the early StarTimes Uganda Premier League standings, with both sides climbing to 13 points and tightening the chase behind leaders SC Villa.
At FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, UPPC made the most of their trip to BUL by hitting the hosts 2–0, a result that deepened the Jinja side’s frustrations barely a week after their proud 25-match unbeaten run was snapped at Kitara.

Both sides came into the match wounded from previous defeats, but it was the visitors who reacted better.
Ambrose Kigozi broke the deadlock four minutes after the restart, Hassan Ssenyonjo assisting in that.
The UPPC star added a second seven minutes later to complete his brace, secure the victory, and earn Man of the Match honours.
UPPC’s win pushed them to 13 points in fifth place, while BUL slipped to eighth on 10 points.
At Kira Road in Kampala, Police missed out on reclaiming top spot after falling 2–1 to Kitara, who executed a perfect away performance capped by a stoppage-time winner.
Patrick Kaddu put the Royals ahead in the 11th minute, but Police – chasing a victory to leapfrog Villa – levelled through Lawrence Tezikya midway through the second half.

Just as the match looked destined for a draw, Isaac Amutuhaire struck in the second minute of added time to seal all three points and claim the Man of the Match nod. The win lifted Kitara three places to fourth on 13 points.

Police, who had four players cautioned remain third on 14 points, two behind leaders Villa.
Matchday action continues on Friday as Mbarara City host KCCA, before Maroons welcome NEC and unbeaten Vipers face table-toppers Villa on Saturday to wrap up the week’s fixtures.
