The Bunyoro derby will be the biggest highlight of Friday as the premier league enters match day twenty-one.
Kitara host cross town rivals Buhimba United Saints at the newly constructed Hoima City stadium on Friday desperate to win and close the gap on Vipers.
This will be the first official competitive match at the venue with Kitara returning to the stadium after beating KCCA 1-0 in the inauguration match late last year.
Kitara are on 43 points while Buhimba United Saints are 14th with 15 points.
At Kiira Road Police Arena, NEC make a short trip to face hosts Police in a game that either want to win.
NEC are unbeaten in 10-premier league matches and in 7th place on 31 points, they are four points behind Police who occupy sixth place.
Elsewhere, BUL host relegation fighting Mbarara City eager to close in on top six positions.
The Jinja based team are 8th with 29 points while the Ankole Lions are second from bottom with only 13 points.
