The StarTimes Uganda Premier League match round 24 kicks off with six matches on card but all eyes will be on the title race and relegation battle.
At Butema, champions Vipers visit relegation fighting Buhimba United Saints with both sides aiming to return to winning ways.
The visitors, top of the table with 52 points have dropped points in their last two games and want reaction to keep their lead at the top.
On the other hand, Buhimba are on a losing streak of five straight matches and dropped into the red zone with 15 points.
A win will see them move up the table in case their fellow strugglers falter in their respective fixtures.
At Bugonga, second placed KCCA will not only seek to keep pace with Vipers but also avenge the first-round defeat at Lugogo to Entebbe UPPC who are in 5th place.
The Printers stunned Lugogo with a 1-0 win through Ambrose Kigozi and a repeat of such a result will deepen the crisis at KCCA who are chasing first title since 2019.
Abdallah Mubiru, their former head coach is in charge of the hosts which adds another dimension to the clash.
Elsewhere, Badru Kaddu takes NEC to face his former pay masters Express at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo in a bid to extend his side’s current unbeaten streak to sixteen league matches.
