Title chasing trio of KCCA, SC Villa and Kitara have an opportunity to trim Vipers’ lead at the top of the standings if they win their respective fixtures.
The Kasasiro travel to Calvary aware that a win will take them within a point of the Venoms who are not in action until Sunday when they host Entebbe UPPC.
The reverse fixture ended 4-2 at Lugogo and the visitors who have won back-to-back matches since losing to Villa are favourites to pick all three points.
However, it won’t come easy against Calvary who are unbeaten in the last three matches and have intensified their survival fight.
At Kadiba, Villa, seven points behind the champions host Buhimba United Saints favourites to move within four points of the leaders.
Villa, who won the first-round clash 3-0 at Butema will hope Frank Ssebuufu and company are in good form on the day.
Fourth placed Kitara have a tougher tie away to relegation fighting Lugazi.
The hosts are desperate to get all points to intensify survival fight while the Royals also need to arrest a slump that has seen them fail to win three matches in a row.
Elsewhere, Maroons will host fellow forces Police at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku in the other game on the day.
Police are 6th on 41 points while Maroons are 9th on 31 points after twenty-four match rounds.
