Title chasing Vipers and SC Villa wary of tough opponents URA and BUL respectively who they face on Friday.

First, the record champions take on BUL at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku aiming to revenge the first leg defeat at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.

Villa are 4th on the log with 51 points and a win will move them within five points of Vipers who play later under flood lights at Kitende.

BUL, 8th on the table with 34 points want a win to keep hopes of finishing in the top eight lively.

The two sides met in the Uganda Cup at the quarter final stage with Villa edging the contest 2-1 at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.

At Kitende, leaders Vipers have an opportunity to stretch lead against limping URA who are now winless in eight matches in all competitions.

The visitors could have Moses Waiswa, Disan Galiwango and Rahmat Ssenfuka face their ex-pay masters.

Vipers won the reverse fixture 3-0 at Hamz stadium and have won seven of the eight meetings against URA since a 2-0 defeat in 2021.

Elsewhere, Buhimba United Saints want to end a nine-match losing streak when they host Express at Royals Park, Butema.

The hosts are now bottom of the standings with 15 points while Express are 10th with 30 points and need to win to enhance chances of finishing in the top eight.
