Vipers and Kitara will be on the road as they both seek to returning ways in order to maintain title charge.

The champions, table leaders Vipers are away to Police at Kiira Road Arena in Kamwokya with Jacky Ivan Minnaert seeking reaction after his side were held by URA last week.

The Venoms still in charge of the race with 60 points and a win will open an eight-point gap between them and second placed KCCA who play on Wednesday.

Vipers won the reverse fixture 4-0 at Kitende in what was a top of the table clash then and will be slight favourites at Kamwokya.

However, Matia Lule’s Cops are also like wounded lions after suffering a shock defeat to Calvary in their last game.

Police are 7th with 44 points and need a win to move within the top six.

At Hamz stadium, Kitara, also wounded after losing 1-0 to NEC face Express with Wasswa Bbosa taking on former pay masters.

The Royals missed an opportunity to close in on Vipers and defeat against the Red Eagles will all but end their title pursuit.

Express are in fine form and a win could lift them into the top eight.

They are now 10th with 33 points and only two points off the top eight places while Kitara are 3rd with 54, six behind leaders Vipers.

The late kick off will be preceded by URA hosting Calvary with the tax collectors buoyant after collecting a point at Kitende in an improved performance.

They have however gone eight matches without a win and face a hungry Calvary in need for points to enhance faint survival chances.

At Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku, Maroons host Entebbe UPPC with the hosts targeting to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to KCCA while the Printers won 2-0 against relegation candidates UPDF in their last outing.

Elsewhere, BUL host Lugazi at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru with both having contrasting aims.

The hosts want to cement a top eighth place while Lugazi are still fighting for survival.
