Emmanuel Anyama inspired KCCA to a 3-0 win over Kataka in the first leg of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Sunday.
The centre forward grabbed a brace opening the scores in the first additional minute of the first stanza and repeating the feat a minute after the break.
Second half substitute Ashraf Mugume sealed the deserved victory with a poacher’s finish in the 81st minute to put the tie literally beyond Kataka’s reach.
The two sides will face off in the second leg at the Mbale Municipal stadium on May 18 with the aggregate winner facing the winner between Vipers and Kitara.
