BUL have confirmed Alex Isabirye as their new head coach on a two-year contract following their sacking of Abbey Kikomeko Bogere a couple of weeks ago.
The club confirmed that in a statement with Isabirye’s main task to save the season after an indecent start as they stand 12th with 10 points after 11 matches.
“BUL Football Club is pleased to confirm that Coach Alex Isabirye has re-joined the Eastern Giants as the team manager on a two-year renewable contract, and he assumes his duties immediately.”
He returns to the club he managed between 2015 and 2016 and also in the 2020/21 season and he won the Uganda Cup.
Isabirye is also a previous Uganda Cup winner with SC Victoria University, and a league champion with URA FC as well as a double with Vipers SC.
Furthermore, the CAF A gaffer coached Nyamityobora, Kyetume, Busoga United, Tooro United, Express FC, Somalia premier league side Horseed, and the Buganda province team in the FUFA Drum tournament, in the past.
The immediate game at his disposal is against Calvary on January 7, 2026.
