Andrew Otim scored the winner as SC Villa saw off resilient Happy Boyz Kagaba in Kassanda to complete a full UPL all semi-final.
The Kassanda based side was the only remaining non-topflight side in the competition and gave the Jogoos, nine-time winners a run for their money.
Earlier, Kitara who won the trophy a season ago beat record joint-record winners Express 3-0 with George Senkaaba netting a brace and Emmanuel Wasswa getting the other goal.
KCCA threw away a two-goal lead before losing 4-2 on penalties at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Saturday.
Said Mayanja and Herbert Achai scored for the Kasasiro before URA rallied through Innocent Kisolo and Ronald Otti late goals to take the game to extra time.
Herbert Achai and Enock Walusimbi missed their attempts from the shootout.
The first quarter final saw Vipers, current holders march on after edging NEC 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw after extra time.
The semi-final draw will be held soon to determine the ties that will be played on home and away basis.
