KCCA Brazilian winger Joao Gabriel has signed a new contract with the club following expiry of the old deal.
The new contract will run for the next two years until 2027 following his impressive show last season in which he scored 5 goals and 3 assists in all competitions last season.
The Brazilian who started in the Uganda Cup final against Vipers couldn’t hide his joy after confirming his stay at Lugogo.
“I am happy to continue my journey with KCCA FC. I have truly embraced the culture here and the passionate support from the fans. I feel at home in Lugogo, and I am eager to continue contributing to the team’s success.”
KCCA co-coach Jackson Magera is also pleased with the development.
“Joao Gabriel is a player of exceptional talent, and we are pleased to have him commit his long-term future to KCCA FC. We believe he will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitions in the upcoming seasons.”
Gabriel joined KCCA in July 2023 under the recommendation of Portuguese tactician Sergio Traguil who was sacked before the end of the first round.
