Uganda Cranes coaches Fred Muhumuza and Morley Byekwaso have named a 41-man provisional squad for the forthcoming CHAN 2024.

The squad will commence training Monday next week.

It should be noted that Byekwaso and Fred Muhumuza were early this week appointed as coaches that will take charge of the team at the tournament.Uganda will co-host the 2024 CHAN alongside Tanzania and Kenya between 2nd-30th August.

The team will be seeking to go beyond the group stage for the first time on their seventh attempt having played at the 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 editions.
