SC Villa have tied David Owori to a new contract that will keep him at the club for at least more two seasons.
Owori signed a new year deal until January 2027 and at the end of it, he will be one of the longest serving players in recent times with five years after he rejoined the club in January 2023.
His first stint with Villa was between 2018 & 2021 which makes him a Villa player for a complete five years now.
The right back cum midfielder has scored twice and assisted once so far this season and was integral as Villa won the title last season ending a 20-year wait for the elusive 17th title.
Villa have sold winger Hakim Kiwanuka to Rwanda’s APR and promoted two youngsters Brian Masembe and Cyrus Bajja from their feeder side Wembley to the senior team.
In the same recently shutdown January transfer window, Villa let go of defender Edward Masembe and winger Peter Onzima on a mutual consent.
