The penultimate match day of the 2025/26 premier league season begins on Tuesday with seven matches on card.
But attention will mainly be at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku where Maroons host Vipers, Hamz stadium, Nakivubo as second placed KCCA visit URA and Bombo where UPDF host resurgent Calvary in a relegation decider.
Vipers victory over bogey side Maroons will all but seal the championship regardless of which result KCCA posts against URA.
The Venoms are top with 61 points but come into the game in abysmal form with only two wins in 10 matches and bowed out of the Uganda Cup on Friday.
A loss or draw could leave their title defence on the line in case KCCA beat the tax men.
KCCA are three points the Venoms and need a win, as well as Vipers slip up.
At Bombo, UPDF will send Calvary back to the Fufa Big League if they avoid defeat against the Yumbe based side.
Four points separate the two sides with the visitors aiming for maximum points to keep any hopes of survival.
UPDF are on 21 points while Calvary are on 17 points with two matches left to complete the season.
Elsewhere, Police host Entebbe UPPC at Kamwokya, BUL are at home against Uganda Cup finalists Kitara, Buhimba are away to Mbarara City while Lugazi visit Express in the day’s late kick off.
There will be only one fixture on Wednesday when SC Villa visit NEC at Lugogo.
