Ambrose Kigozi scored the only goal as Entebbe UPPC beat hosts URA 1-0 at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo to hand Hussein Mbalangu a woeful start to life in the tax collector’s dugout.

Kigozi scored four minutes after the break following a goalless first half under the sun.

Despite a late surge from the four-time champions which saw Nelson Ssenkatuka miss a good opportunity to draw level, Entebbe UPPC held on for their seventh win of the season.

Maximum points take the Printers to 5^th place on 23 points, four behind table leaders Vipers while URA remain 12^th on 11 points, just one above relegation zone with three matches to seal the first round.

URA have now lost four matches on the bounce and will host Vipers next on January 23 while Abdallah Mubiru’s men will visit UPDF two days’ earlier.
