Express, NEC target victory in penultimate league fixture

Express will be desperate to end their home campaign with a win when they host NEC at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku in the only game on the day.

Both teams come into the game on the back of disappointing results with the Red Eagles losing to Vipers 1-0 at Kitende while the same opponent held NEC goalless to end their faint title hopes.

Isaac Wagoina, on 12 goals will be eager to add on his tally for the hosts as they seek only their 10^th win of the campaign and ensure they cement 9^th place which they currently occupy on 32 points – same as Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants.

Express won the reverse fixture 5-2 at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

NEC are currently 6^th on the table with 45 points and will leapfrog KCCA with a win at Wankulukuku.
