The last games of the premier league before the Afcon break kick off with three matches on card.

At the MTN Omondi Lugogo, table leaders welcome struggling Buhimba United Saints aware that a win will earn them leadership until the return of the league next year.

They will be overwhelming favourites against the league’s newcomers who are now winless in seven matches after winning three of their opening games.

Richard Anyama (red card) joins the trio of Charles Lukwago, Shafik Nana Kwikiriza and Ivan Ahimbisibwe who are with the Uganda Cranes in Morocco amongst those KCCA will miss.

But they will look to Derrick Nsibambi, Said Mayanja and others to breakdown the Hoima based side who are 3rd from bottom with 10 points.

KCCA lead the standings with 23 points, two ahead of Vipers who play Lugazi on Wednesday.

At Bombo, UPDF host NEC in a battle of armed forces with either desperate for a win.

NEC lie 9th with 11 points and need to win to climb up the table while UPDF are just a point below in 11th position.

At Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru, BUL will be eager to avoid a fifth defeat in a row when they host red hot Police FC.

The Jinja based side are on 10 points from as many games so far this season and only a win could relieve pressure on Abbey Kikomeko.

Police, 5th on the table with 18 points need a win to keep leaders KCCA in close check.
