BUL 1-2 KCCA
Alex Yiga scored a stoppage time winner as KCC completed a 2-1 comeback victory over BUL in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played in Njeru on Sunday afternoon.
Sammy Ssebaduka had cancelled out George Kasonlo’s 37th minute lead for the hosts but Yiga intervened in injury time for KCCA to open a three-point lead at the summit.
The Kasasiro Boys now lead on 20 points, with Vipers, SC Villa and Police all on 17.
BUL struck first when Kasonko punished hesitant defending, guiding home from close range after KCCA failed to deal with a corner.
KCCA, however, improved after the break and deservedly levelled on 57 minutes.
Lazaro Muhindo’s delivery caused confusion, with goalkeeper Tom Ikara spilling the ball into the path of Ssebaduka, who guided it home to restore parity.
The Kasasiro Boys kept pushing, and their pressure finally told into added time witb Yiga netting a spectacular winner, which left BUL 11th on 10 points.
