Two Lugogo based sides KCCA and NEC face off in the Fufa Super 8 final at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Tuesday with first silverware at glance.

KCCA reached the final after beating Kitara 1-0 in the semis having earlier eliminated BUL 4-2 on aggregate winning both legs 2-1 at the same venue.

NEC saw off holders SC Villa 3-1 in the semis and Entebbe UPPC 3-2 on aggregate having won the second leg 2-1 thanks to Richard Basangwa brace.

For Kasasiro, this is first opportunity to win any trophy since 2019 while NEC target first silverware since gaining promotion to the division three years ago.

KCCA could hand Ibrahim Kasule his debut but it can’t be same with Fahad Bayo who has not trained with NEC yet – the two joining from stints abroad.

In the third place play off, Kitara face off with SC Villa at 4pm.
