KCCA and SC Villa can’t afford to blink on the trips to Lugazi and Entebbe respectively if they are to stay in contention for the 2025/26 premier league title.

The Kasasiro head to Lugazi in good form with four wins on the bounce and are five points behind leaders Vipers in third place.

Lugazi are wounded after three back-to-back defeats and need points to ease on relegation pressure.

They are seated 12th on the log with 18 points and only five better than Mbarara City who occupy the last slot in the relegation table.

At Bugonga, record champions SC Villa visit resilient Entebbe UPPC aware that dropping more points will surely end their title pursuit.

The first leg in Kadiba ended in a 1-1 draw and the two sides are separated by two points with Villa in 4th place on 38 points and Entebbe UPPC a position below.

At Kitende, champions Vipers return home in a top vs. bottom clash as they host Calvary under floodlights.

The table leaders must win to re-open a four-point gap after Kitara won 4-0 in a local derby versus Bunyoro on Friday.

The Venoms are on 47 points while Calvary, yet to win a premier league game are on five points.

Elsewhere, Maroons host UPDF in a battle of security forces with the latter seeking to win and improve survival chances as they sit second from bottom on 13 points.

In the other game on the day, Express and URA face off at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo under the floodlights.

Express will start life minus suspended captain Mbaziira in defence as Hussein Mbalangu’s men look for a third win in four matches.

URA are 10th on the table with 22 points, two points ahead of Express in 11th position.
