The StarTimes Uganda Premier League returns after two weeks’ hiatus with three fixtures on card on match day fourteen.

At Kavumba, 2005 champions Police host KCCA in a fixture both teams want to win after faltering in their last outings.

Police were beaten 2-1 by Maroons while KCCA were held at home by record winners SC Villa at Lugogo.

KCCA, 3rd on the log with 23 points need maximum points to trim gap between them and top two, Vipers and NEC to two and one point/s respectively.

Ninth placed Police with 17 points could climb to 5th place with a victory.

At Luzira, Maroons host Mbale Heroes who will be without coach Asaph Mwebaze who is suspended.

Mubarak Wamboya Abu will be in charge of the game as the Surgeons aim to improve their standings from the bottom three.

The hosts, who welcome coaches Muhammad Ssenfuma and Simon Peter Ojok from CAF A final assessment course in Njeru.

The duo missed the win at Police and will hope to win again and move into the top four.

In the late kick off, seven-time champions Express FC host Soltilo Bright Stars at Nakivubo stadium.

The Red Eagles come into the game on the back of a humiliating 7-0 defeat at the hands of Kitara which left more questions.

The visitors, in the bottom three with nine points want to win to improve their points tally.
