The Stanbic Uganda Cup final showdown is on this Saturday at Fufa stadium, Kadiba as KCCA and Vipers lock horns.

The newly crowned league champions Vipers will be out to seal a second league and cup double in their history after claiming one in the 2022/23 season.

For KCCA, after a frustrating campaign in which they did finish 5th behind Vipers, NEC, BUL and URA are desperate to save their season with victory.

The Kasasiro are on a six- season trophy drought having last lifted a trophy in 2019 when they won the league and Kagame Cup.

The final will be a repeat of the 2018 cup final played Bukedea which KCCA won 1-0 courtesy of Julius Poloto 42nd minute strike, a win that denied Vipers their first double.

Hilary Mukundane is out for Vipers with accumulated bookings while coach John Luyinda Ayala is doubtful for the bench after losing his mother.

KCCA, aiming to add on their 10 trophies in the competition are without any injuries.

Former KCCA players Moses Waiswa, Allan Okello turn guns against their ex-bosses while on the opposite side, Mutwalibu Mugolofa and Ashraf Mugume will be in the yellow against early childhood side.
