Saturday 8th March 2025.

  • Mbarara City FC Vs Soltilo Bright Stars FC, Kakyeka Stadium-Mbarara (4:00pm).
  • KCCA FC Vs Mbale Heroes FC, MTN Omondi Stadium-Lugogo (7:00pm) Live on Sanyuka Prime TV.

KCCA will hope to put an end to their six-match winless streak when they host Mbale Heroes at Lugogo under the lights.

The 13-time league champions have not tasted league glory since the controversial victory over Wakiso Giants in December last year.

In the subsequent run, they have lost three and drawn as many and have netted just once, in the 1-1 draw with rivals SC Villa.

Against Mbale Heroes who sit at the base of the standings, Abdallah Mubiru’s side will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways as nothing but victory will please the KCCA faithful.

With 25 points in 7th place, a win could lift them to 8th position while the Surgeons on 10 points could exchange positions with Soltilo Bright Stars in the bottom two.

The Stars who travel to Mbarara City are desperate for maximum points as they intend to reignite survival ambitions.

The Ankole Lions, on 20 points in 12th place are also not secure yet which makes the clash against the visitors at Kakyeeka a must win.
