Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) top two sides KCCA and Vipers have been paired together in the Uganda Cup semi-final draw held at FUFA headquarters, Mengo.
In a fixture most fans would love to see in the finals, KCCA who boost of eight Uganda Cup trophies host the first leg at Lugogo with Vipers playing at home in the return leg at dates yet to be communicated.
The two Cup meetings mean the two sides are meeting three times as the season gets into the closing stage with the first coming in the league on Friday at Lugogo.
In the other semi-final, FUFA Big League side Entebbe awaits the winner amongst Soana, Onduparaka and Busia.
The latter two face off at the round of 16 with Soana lurking in the quarter finals.
KCCA have reached the previous two Cup finals losing in the finals to URA in 2014 and SC Villa in 2015.
Vipers last played in the Cup finals in 2013 when they lost to SC Victoria University in penalties at Masindi, a year after they had lost to URA in another final.
Only KCCA of the remaining teams has ever won the trophy but their most recent triumph came in 2004.
