  • Rwamwanja stadium, Kamwenge 4pm

Kigezi Home Boyz and Mbarara City lock horns at the Rwamwanja stadium in Kamwenge with either desperate for points to improve their standings on the table.

The hosts are winless in the top division so far and occupy the base of the 18-team log with just one point attained from a shock draw with KCCA.

They come into the game with seven matches played, only two goals scored and conceded 12 which makes them underdogs against their Western rivals who have amassed 8 points but played one more game.

The Gorillas have beefed up their technical staff with Pius Ngabo who quit Ntugasaze and will be hoping his combo with Kefa Kisala delivers the desired goods.

Mbarara City remain without Rogers Mugisha, red-carded in the 1-0 win over Vipers but still have enough attacking ammunition in Muhammad Kanyike, Ivan Bogere and Clinton Kamugisha among others.

A win for the Ankole Lions could lift them from 14th place to 11th depending on the score line.
