  • Kitara vs URA – Royal Park, Butema 4pm
  • SC Villa vs Maroons – Fufa stadium, Kadiba 8pm

Kitara have an opportunity to move top of the standings in the premier league when they host URA at Royal Park Butema on Thursday.

The fixture pits two sides at different sides of ambitions with the tax collectors seeking to climb further from the relegation zone while Kitara want to show title ambitions.

Unbeaten in the last four matches, Kitara will move level on points with Vipers with a win but will leapfrog the champions on head-to-head record following a decision to award them a victory in the abandoned game.

URA not only target points but also their first goal in more than eight premier league matches and that abysmal performance has left them just two points above the drop zone.

At Fufa stadium, Kadiba, Villa will want to react to back-to-back stalemates by winning against visiting Maroons to keep pace with the leading pack.

Villa are now on 30 points, eight behind Vipers and failure to win could see them lose further ground in the title race.

Maroons won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Luzira and could beat Villa home and away for the first time in history.
