The 11th FUFA Super League Limited (FSLL) Annual General Meeting sat at HB Hotel in Hoima at the weekend to take stock of last season and reinforce growth strategies for the current one.
Speaking at the AGM, the FSLL Board Chairman – Arinaitwe Rugyendo – talked of “remarkable achievements, ongoing challenges, and exciting prospects of the future”
Rugyendo outlined three strategic objectives that will guide the league’s efforts in the coming years.
“Expanding sponsorship and revenue generation, improving infrastructure and facilities, and enhancing fan engagement,” he said.
Rugyendo also highlighted the “successes of the 2023-2024 Season” such as “Governance and club competitiveness, fixture management and match organisation.
“Promotion of matches and attendance,” he added, “night games, televised matches and data analytics also improved.”
League CEO Bernard Bainamani, FUFA 1st and 3rd vice presidents Justus Mugisha and Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi respectively, as well as the FA’s executive member, Rogers Byamukama, also attended the meeting.
