The League is saddened by the news from the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) regarding the untimely passing of National Assistant Referee Peter Kabugo, who collapsed during a match at Wankulukuku Stadium on Friday, 1st November 2024.
A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death communicated by the Federation.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Peter’s family, the Uganda Football Referees Association, his friends, and all who knew him. During this difficult time, we join FUFA in requesting privacy for the family.
