- Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso 3pm
Two limping sides Wakiso Giants and KCCA face off in the last match of round 12 with either desperate to turn things around.
The hosts are on an eight-match streak without victory and have only picked two draws and scored twice during that ugly run.
Steven Bengo’s Purple Sharks lie 14th on the 16-team table with only nine points and are aware that only three points against an equally desperate KCCA will move them closer to the safety zones.
They will hope the ghosts of last season in the corresponding fixture show up as they won this match 2-1 at Kabaka Kyabaggu.
Meanwhile, fourth placed KCCA, seven points behind leaders NEC also want to end a four-match run that has seen them draw twice and lose as many in the process.
Their last victory came in the 5-0 home win over Maroons but will be favourites here against a side they have beaten six of the eight times they have met in the premier league.
Both teams have defenders returning from suspension with Ambrose Arinda available for the hosts after sitting out the 2-1 defeat to Police at Kavumba and Muhamood returning to KCCA’s squad after he was suspended for the home loss to Express FC.
