Lugazi has signed two Mbarara City players Paul Busolo and Yusuf Mafabi.
The duo joins the club on two-year contracts with the self-proclaimed ‘Leaders’ who aim to strengthen their squad ahead of their second season in the top division.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Paul Busolo from Mbarara City. The youthful forward joins the Leaders on a two-year contract.”
Busolo who scored three goals and four assists helping Mbarara City to survive relegation last season in his debut campaign in the top tier.
Busolo said: “I am privileged to sign for Lugazi FC. It has a good working environment, has good players and it is a good team to play for.
“I know the pressure that comes with signing for a good team especially when you’re a striker. Everyone demands goals but I will do whatever is needed to score as many goals as possible to help the team win games.”
Mafabi said; “I feel so good! I am so happy because I am among the few lucky players who have been given a chance to play for this great club.
“This team has a great management, good technical team and above all, it gives opportunities to the young players to develop their talents. I will work hard to repay their trust and faith in me.”
