  • Mbale Municipal stadium – 3pm

Mbale Heroes host champions SC Villa in the last match of round two in what is the first topflight match at the venue in over 18 years.

The hosts will be looking to pick their first win of the campaign after narrowly losing to Express 2-1 in the opening match at Nakivubo, a game they did dominate.

“We are ready and the target is to win after failing on the first day,” former SC Villa midfielder Davis Sekajja told the press.

He scored the lone goal in their opener and alongside Akram Muzanyi, Pius Kaggwa and Denis Kakeeto among others, they will hope to have their A game in front of what is expected to be a hostile crowd for the visitors.

Meanwhile, SC Villa who began the campaign with a 4-2 win over Mbarara City will aim to become only the second side this season to win two successive matches.

Patrick Kakande, Hakim Kiwanuka, Francis Onekalit and Elvis Ngonde will be vital for the Jogoos.

The game pits two former teammates Richard Malinga and Morley Byekwaso in opposite dugouts.
